What the assessment looks at

Two lenses, one clear picture. We look at how digitally mature your organisation is, and how advanced your digital twin is — so the roadmap fits where you really are.

01 Digital Maturity (LORDIMAS) Where your organisation stands across seven areas — governance, service design, data management, interoperability, service delivery, technology and networking — summed up as a single digital grade, from digital nascent to digital native. Based on LORDIMAS, already used by 450+ European cities and regions.
02 Digital Twin Maturity How advanced your current or planned twin is — from static maps, to dynamic data, to predictive and prescriptive models — seen across domains such as mobility, energy, water and waste. It shows the right level for the decision you want to improve, so you don’t over- or under-build.

How to use it

  1. Complete the online assessment, built on LORDIMAS.
  2. Review your maturity results — both digital and digital-twin.
  3. Generate your tailored roadmap, with the AI-enhanced modules.
  4. Follow the recommended actions, tools and EDIC services.

This produces a practical roadmap to guide your decisions — not a binding plan or a procurement document. The LDT dimension of the assessment is being developed with ESPON and finalised during 2026.
